This equipment enables us to take the measurements without the removal of the existing countertops. As a result there is no need to surrender your workspace while your order is being processed. Installation is completed in a single visit which is an undeniable advantage when renovating.
By downloading the measurements directly from the digital arm into the CNC machines we automatically eliminate the risk of potential clerical errors. Priceless !

Reliable measurements
Granit Plus inc. is one of the few granite countertop manufacturers to use a numeric arm. This technology ables us to take the measurements of existing countertops or newly installed cabinets with accuracy.* Numeric arm may not be available depending of your leaving area.The collected data is dowloaded into a computer linked to the numeric arm.
Programming
With the use of a drafting software, our staff of draftsmen prepare the shop drawings of each top to be fabricated. (When the measurements were not taken with our numeric arm.) Once this information has been validated, it is transferred directly to the numeric control machines in the factory. Slabs are carefully selected to meet the specific requirements of inch project and to avoid any unsightly veins or blemishes.
Numeric control machines
Each operator controls the speed of the various operations and sees to the overall smooth working of the numeric control machine. This technology provides greater precision, efficiency and versatility thereby allowing us to fabricate intricate projects of superior quality.
Work force
Although many operations are performed by the numeric control machines certain tasks still require the skilfulness or our highly trained workers to ensure Granit Plus inc. quality standards.
Inspection
Each unit is compared with the shop drawings or to the original template then thoroughly inspected and tested for proper fitting. The unit is then securely crated to prevent any possible breeakage in transport.
Installation
Our installers received extensive training. Their workman-ship is required to meet our quality standards and customer satisfaction.
